All Eyes on El Capitan
All eyes are turned to El Capitan in Yosemite Valley these days while two climbers are making headway through the Dawn Wall. Thanks to Tommy Caldwell, Kevin Jorgeson, Brett Lowell (photographer) and Corey Rich (photographer), we are able to see something we may never see again: the 3,000 ft (900 m) free climbing ascent of the largest monolith granite rock block in the world located in Yosemite Valley. El Capitan is perhaps the most favourite playground for base jumpers, rock climbers and many more adventurers.

Follow the details of this story as described in National Geographic: Historic Free Climb Ascent of El Capitan
And let's not forget the brave photographers alongside: Live from Yosemite's El Capitan
